LOWA Super Camp

This model is chosen by users who prefer the comfort and feel of a soft leather lining instead of Gore-Tex®, but still demand all the remaining benefits of the Mountain Boot.

The leather lining is perforated for ventilation and offers the best comfort for normal wear.

It does not have a waterproof membrane but with the correct application of LOWA aftercare products it can still give all the protection needed.

The leather lining absorbs around 200% of its own weight in moisture, and then becomes saturated and needs time to dry out.

Super Camp 2 - Sizes 6 -13 (in half sizes)

This model will be phased in from Feb 2009, to give:

  • A Cambrelle® wear area around inside of heel
  • Removal of white leather around the top of the boot
  • Leather lined around the front of foot

    Technical Details

    • Water Repellent 2.6mm thick outer leather, and 1.2 - 1.5mm thick comfort glove-leather lining capable of absorbing 200% of its own weight in moisture, and offers the best comfort for normal wear.
    • Vibram® "Tsavo" sole unit (repairable).
    • Achilles leather flex panel in heel for extreme comfort.
    • Climate control system and insole.
    • This model requires the leather lining to be fed with a moisturing cream from time to time to help maximise it's life (No wax/silicon)
